Anleitung
1. Plan the panel layout around the standard handing
The single-stage, left-hand configuration is the standard build; if the door needs right-hand actuation, raise it as a custom option at the inquiry stage rather than reworking on site.
2. Fix through Ø8.3mm holes, with threaded bosses as an option
The through-hole is the primary mount, with M8×1.25 or 5/16-18 UNC threaded bosses available; pick the threaded option where the frame cannot be drilled through.
3. Let the damper absorb the door's closing energy
The integrated damping device controls closing on heavy doors and resists vibration in harsh environments; pair it with doors heavy enough to need it, or closing feels over-damped.
4. Default to zinc-plated, upgrade to stainless outdoors
Zinc-plated steel is the standard build; move to stainless when the lock sits in corrosive or outdoor conditions — the page lists both for exactly this decision.
5. Use the dual-stage option for longer pull-in
A dual-stage option is available when the door needs more travel to reach full gasket compression; specify it with the gasket stack dimensions.
