The SL-6001 is a snap-in guide and keeper in glass-fiber reinforced PA66+30GF, designed to work with rotary latches, slam (impact) door locks and push-to-close latches. Its molded guiding ramp steers the latch tongue or striker into the closed position, compensates minor misalignment between door and frame, and cushions the final contact: metal impact noise and panel rattle drop noticeably, and the latch seats consistently even when the panel is not perfectly adjusted.
Installation needs no screws: the keeper presses into the panel cutout and locks in place, and a cable tie down anchors the mating side. The 4 mm applicable diameter suits light to medium-duty doors. The black PA66+30GF body complies with UL and RoHS requirements.
