RV Compartment Locks & Latching Systems for RV and Camper Manufacturers
SecuriLock manufactures compartment locks and latching systems for recreational vehicle and camper OEMs — T-handle compartment locks, wing-handle turn latches, push-button slam locks and rotary latches for baggage and storage doors, built to withstand road vibration, UV exposure and wide temperature swings.
From exterior storage compartments to baggage doors, our hardware secures every access point on an RV body. Products are supplied to RV and camper manufacturers, trailer builders and specialty vehicle OEMs, with custom key systems, materials and finishes for production programs.
Lock Types by RV Compartment
| Compartment | Lock type | SecuriLock series |
|---|---|---|
| Exterior storage compartments | T-handle / wing-handle quarter-turn | SL-B-2109 · SL-B-2202 |
| Baggage and cargo doors | Rotary latch (rod systems) | SL-4005 |
| Slam-action doors | Push-button impact lock | SL-B-2701 |
| Sealed compression doors | Whale-tail / T-handle compression | SL-A-2549 |
Exterior storage compartments
T-handle and wing-handle quarter-turn locks (SL-B-2109, SL-B-2202 series) are the standard for side and rear storage doors. For interior cabinet doors, the SL-B-2112-10 T-handle turn latch with square-shaft output is the common choice. Keyed versions manage access; tool-operated versions suit service panels. Dust-cover options protect the cylinder from road spray.
Baggage and cargo doors
Rotary latches (SL-4005 series) pull large baggage doors tight against the seal and work with remote release cables and multi-point rod systems for long doors.
Slam-action doors
Push-button impact locks (SL-B-2701 series) close with a simple push — no handle rotation — ideal for compartments opened dozens of times a day.
Doors needing a sealed compression fit
Whale-tail and T-handle compression latches (SL-A-2549) clamp the door against the gasket, keeping dust and water out of sensitive compartments.
Built for the Road Environment
RV hardware lives on the outside of the vehicle: constant vibration, UV, rain and road salt. SecuriLock compartment locks use zinc-alloy and glass-reinforced nylon bodies, SUS304 stainless steel where corrosion resistance matters, and dust covers on outdoor cylinders. Every batch ships with material and inspection reports.
Key Systems for RV Fleets
Standard cylinders include CH751 and K333 fleet key codes, keyed-alike programs for rental and dealer fleets, and padlockable hasps for shared equipment. Custom key hierarchies are managed to your access plan.
OEM Supply Terms
