The SL-A-2549 Whale Tail T-Handle Compression Latch is a whale-tail T-handle compression latch in die-cast zinc, built for vehicle applications. The folding whale-tail handle offers a large, comfortable grip area and folds flat when closed; the compression mechanism then holds the door panel tight, reducing looseness, noise, and vibration while the vehicle is in motion. A keyed cylinder provides access control, and the rear grip is adjustable to match door thickness and seal compression.
