The SL-B-2708 is an ABS pop-out knob latch: closed, the knob sits flush; press the top and it pops out to become the operating handle - rotate to retract the tongue. Push the door shut and it locks again automatically.

The SL-B-2708 is a pop-out knob impact lock in lightweight ABS: press the top and the knob pops out to become the handle, rotate to open; close the door and it relocks automatically.
The flush knob leaves nothing to snag on clothing or cargo, and the pop-out action gives a real grip when needed. Automatic relocking means the compartment is never accidentally left open.
