The SL-A-2442-224 Push Button Lever Compression Lock is a push-button lever compression latch that closes and clamps the door seal in one motion, used on pickup canopies, RV doors, vehicle toolboxes and equipment enclosures.

The SL-A-2442-224 uses the standard push-button profile of the series, a general-purpose lever compression lock for everyday industrial and vehicle doors. Once the lever folds down, the compression mechanism clamps the door against its frame and keeps constant pressure on the gasket, so panels stay quiet on generators, compressors and moving vehicles. Grip distance at the rear is adjustable for different door builds, with non-keyed and CH751 keyed versions in the range. The body is die-cast zinc at an IP40 protection level, intended for sheltered positions away from direct wash-down. It is a common sight on vehicle equipment doors, compressor canopies, generator sets, construction machinery and truck toolboxes.
