SL-4005-72 Shock-Absorbing Direct Drive Rotary Lock
The SL-4005-72 is a shock-absorbing direct drive rotary lock that delivers cushioned, reliable latching for industrial cabinets, equipment doors, and vehicle hatches. Available in galvanized steel or stainless steel, it supports single-stage or double-stage operation, left-hand or right-hand mounting, and Ø7.2 through holes, M6×1, or 1/4-20 threaded installations. With a 3600N maximum load, 9.5mm striker compatibility, and REACH No.1907/2006 compliance, it suits high-volume OEM and MRO projects.

The SL-4005-72 keeps the minimal direct drive of the -71 and adds shock absorption, so simple low-maintenance panels also survive vibration.
Direct input rotates the cam with the fewest possible parts while the integrated damper cushions engagement, cutting impact stress without complicating the mechanism; single or double stage and both orientations are configurable.
Built in galvanized steel or stainless steel, it mounts via a Φ7.2 through hole with M6x1 or 1/4-20 threads, handles 9.5mm strikers and a 3,600N load, REACH No.1907/2006 compliant.
Order the -72 instead of the -71 when a simple panel must also ride on vibrating machinery; both share the same cut-out for easy swaps. Flexible MOQ and OEM customization are open for project orders.
